For many of us, that call we made to Intergroup was our first step toward recovery. As a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous, you can “pass it on” by volunteering to answer the Hotline or by making yourself available to go on 12 Step calls.
Hotline Volunteer
Our 24-hour Hotline is answered in the office between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Hotline Volunteer’s take calls either in the Intergroup Office, Monday – Friday for 2 hour shifts or volunteer for a overnight shift to take the calls between 6:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Hotline volunteers contact someone on the 12th step list to reach out to the caller.

12th Step Volunteer
When a call is received on the Hotline, the Hotline volunteer refers to the 12th Step Volunteer List and finds someone available to return a call to the person needing to talk.
